Built on a foundation of bricks and cement left from tearing down our chimney, the bench and tree turned our cement-block garage wall into a colorful mural. All of the mosaic pieces are recycled (look closely for green and blue bottles, seashells, stones and marbles. And on the left is a pigeon, an ode to the homing pigeons and bomber pigeons that the previous owners of the house kept in a coop in the garage.
