These seats were built in 2019 to look like tree trunks, in a Seussian sort of way. They’re sculpted out of foam and then covered with layers of fiberglass mesh and cement to make them weather-proof. They found a home in the pollinator garden near the Morse-Kelly playground in Somerville, MA.
