We had a great time using some of the techniques of copper foiling to make non-traditional stained glass screens. We used glass, gears, keys, wire, shells and wood. Our projects explored the ideas presented in the gallery exhibit called “virtual screens” on view now at the deCordova in Lincoln. We were lucky to have a photographer named David Elmes at the second workshop to take photos for the museum. Here are a few photos that he took as we worked.
And here’s my photo of the least traditional of the wonderful projects created in the workshop: a 3-dimensional stained glass hamburger!
