We were invited back to The Children’s Room in Arlington to lead a collaborative mosaic project with teens.  In only 45 minutes they worked in small groups to mosaic hands in four different colors. Many of the teens added their own personal symbols or words under glass along the border.  We then placed the four sections and the border pieces together to make a stunning round display.  I’ve taken the sections they made and connected them more permanently with screws and masonite, and I’ve grouted between the tiles to finish the piece.  Take a look at what a great job they did.
