After many months of preparation the Kennedy school garden mosaics were finally installed in their place on the sides of the raised garden beds in the playground. This is what the beds looked like before the mosaics were added:
Here are a few action shots of the installation process, which I completed with much carpentry help from my wonderful neighbor Phil Woodbury and technical consultation from friend and playground designer D.J. Chagnon.
We held a small unveiling ceremony that was a hit with the student artists in part because they were recognized for their excellent work and in part because there was watermelon!
