After waiting many months for the senior center mosaic to be installed, it’s finally been hung at the entrance to the Cross St building. The members who pieced it together can now proudly enjoy it every time they visit for programs or for lunch, and I heard from Teen Empowerment (a program that runs upstairs) that they like it too!
Even better, I was able to re-grout the background of the welcome sign so that the word stands out more clearly (thanks Cindy Fisher for teaching me that it was possible!).

Now we just need to tackle all of the other uninviting white space on the walls around it. Stay tuned for whatever fun inter-generational projects we cook up to liven up the entry!
